What's New

June 27th, 2017

Hey, folks,

This is Shane. I want to send you a personal note about something important.

My Dad has suffered what appears to have been a ministroke.

He’s mostly fine – he’s thinking clearly, and communicating as well as normal. A little while ago he finished hosting the radio show, like usual. If he were sitting down, even a very good friend wouldn’t know that anything was wrong. But his coordination is a bit worse than usual, and he’s dropped his phone and glasses a few more times than he normally would.

We’re taking steps to make sure that this doesn’t happen again. We’re also going to keep doing everything we had been doing: his radio show, the documentary on Soros, and Citizen Journalism School. He wants to keep working, and we’re going to keep working with him while we do what we can to make sure this doesn’t happen again.

Anyway – I just wanted to send you all this note. I’m in Twin Falls right now working on a story, because that’s where my Dad thinks I should be, while Jack is helping out in Washington, D.C.

Please take some time today to tell your family members that you love them. You don’t know what could happen, at any time. It’s important.

And please keep my father in your prayers.
